Abstract

This study explores the various semantic relationships between the core (ʿumda) and adjunct (faḍla) components in Arabic sentence structure. By classifying grammatical elements into essential and secondary parts, the research aims to identify the central constituents of the Arabic sentence and examine their semantic and syntactic functions. The analysis highlights how these components interact to form meaningful and coherent expressions within the framework of Arabic grammar.
