Abstract

Allama Qastalani Ahmad bin Muhammad was a well-known figure amongst the scholars of 10th century. This article is an overview of his biography with a special focus on learning and teaching. His writings are diverse in range and are about Quran, Hadith, Tafseer, Seerah and mysticism which are really invaluable additions to these disciplines and turn him into a towering personality of his times.
