Abstract
This study, titled "Endowments Among Non-Muslims: A Case Study of Christian Endowments in Jerusalem", explores the role of joint endowments between Muslims and non-Muslims in addressing the diverse needs of society, drawing its principles from Islamic jurisprudence.The first chapter examines the concept of endowments among non-Muslims, their historical development, and their legal aspects.The second chapter delves into rulings on endowments concerning non-Muslims and provides an analysis of the role of Christian endowment custodians in Jerusalem.The third chapter investigates joint endowments between Muslims and non-Muslims, showcasing various forms of these collaborations in Arab societies.The study also includes practical aspects, such as designing a model for a shared endowment deed between a Muslim and a non-Muslim. The conclusion summarizes the findings and presents recommendations based on the analysis.
